| KUTEN is a registered non-profit association based in Helsinki. It was founded in 2002 to promote and generate visual culture. In 2008 our main activity is to organize Plan -B Nordic artists urban environmental art project and seminar in Bologna. Plan -B brings the Nordic contemporary art scene to the streets of Bologna Italy for one week in September 2008. Seven visual artists: Morten Steen Hebsgaard and Lisbeth Bank Nielsen (Denmark), Maria Duncker, Juha van Ingen and Pasi Karjula (Finland) and Arni Gudmudsson and Cristian Rieloff (Sweden) accompanied by Karin Andersen (in co operation with Cristian Rainer) and two othert Italian artists Annalisa Cattani and Cosimo Terlizzi, build their artworks on Piazza Maggiore and the surrounding streets in central Bologna. The works are presented to the public by the artists during a series of picnic-presentations. A Plan B seminar and discussion mediated by curator and art critic Fabiola Naldi is held in the historical University of Bologna.
