The participating artists (Click the names to view the works): // present at the Picnic-presentation The documentation of the locations consist of photographs. The locations are selected by Arni Gudmundsson who is also participating in PS2. The given material serves as a reference to an existing place and creates a possibility for the artists to make a virtual journey to the location. Some of the artists have visited the documented sites in person. The others have to rely on the given documentation and have to use their imagination to fill in the gaps which the documentation leaves, making the starting point for their work a sum of facts and fiction. The artists who will participate in person in the workshop will make a picnic-presentation for the public on the sites which were the starting point for their artwork in Skåne. Placing Sense 2 is organized by KUTEN association for promoting visual culture in collaboration with ID:I. For more info on PS 1&2 projects visit the Kuten web-site or contact: ps2 at kuten.net |
